Whatever walk of life you’re from and however you wish to declare your love for each other, I am here to work with you, to organise and conduct your ceremony in a way that expresses your love and tells your story in the best possible way. I believe we are all individual divine beings and every wedding should be as distinct and diverse as the couple being married!
I truly believe in love. I am a friendly, welcoming Gold Coast celebrant (usually with a huge hug) and I love stories. I want to meet you, hear your story, your life as a couple, the reasons for your love, how you want to declare it, so that I can bring your love story to life in a ceremony that will be uniquely yours.
I have always loved weddings and now I am blessed to be a part of them! Your ceremony is about you, and I will be there to support and guide you every step of the way. I have a background in hospitality and operations for one of the biggest global companies. I am a mum to two beautiful little daughters and a wife to a loving and supportive husband. I am organised and well planned, I appreciate attention to detail and have a natural flair for bringing warmth and genuine care to any of my ceremonies.
I look forward to working with you as your Gold Coast celebrant to create a wedding ceremony that honours you as a couple, reflects your unique style, relates to your lifestyle and beliefs and shares your love story…….

Making it Legal
In Australia, there are some processes to follow in order to be married legally.
Most people don’t know “How to get married” unless they start investigating. Here’s what you need to know/do as a minimum to be legally married in Australia. The legal paperwork, jargon and what to expect.
I will complete most of this ahead of time and help you understand these requirements.
To be legally married in Australia, a man and woman must:
You don’t have to be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia to legally marry here. You can find marriage visa information on the Department of Immigration and Border Protection website if you hope to live in Australia after your marriage.
Important paperwork—Notice of Intended Marriage (NoIM)
I have this form as a hard copy or you can download it from the Attorney General’s website here
• A completed Notice of Intended Marriage form must be given to me at least one month before the wedding and a maximum of eighteen months beforehand.
• I can help you complete the form. The notice may be completed and witnessed outside Australia if required.
• Let me know if there is less than one month before your wedding. A prescribed authority may approve a shorter notice time in some limited circumstances.
• You will need to provide me evidence of date and place of birth, identity and the end of any previous marriages for each party. Your original birth certificate and a form of photo ID is ideal to provide all the information required. You can use your passport if you’re confident accurately submitting the full names and birthplace of your parents. I may also ask you to complete a statutory declaration to support your evidence.
Documents must be in English or accompanied by an approved translation.
I will give you some reading material. Part of my legal obligations is to hand you Happily Ever… Before and After, an information leaflet for couples who intend to marry. I will also give you information on the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants which states I must tell you How to Make a Complaint about me (hopefully you won’t have to) and that I must maintain up to date details of local family relationship services.
After meeting you both for a chat and you confirm I’m the one for you, I’ll draft a ceremony outline, including the minimum legally required wording. I will then email this to you and you can provide as much content as you wish and change whatever you like, with the exception of the legal wording that I’ll highlight. The Declaration of No Impediment to Marriage needs to be signed close to your wedding day; you are required to declare that you are still free to marry prior to the ceremony. We can do this at the rehearsal or arrange a suitable time within the week prior to your ceremony.
On the day of your wedding…
After you are married, you will sign three marriage certificates. Each certificate should be signed by you, Me (your celebrant) and two witnesses (Both over 18). I will give you one of the certificates as a record of your marriage and register your marriage with the registry of births, deaths and marriages in the state or territory it took place within fourteen days.
The certificate issued by the registry of births, deaths and marriages is required for many official purposes. You should apply for a copy of this certificate from the registry after your wedding through the registry of births, deaths and marriages in the state your marriage was solemnised.
First Contact – phone or email
Give me a call or send me an email and I can let you know if I am available on your wedding date. We can then have a chat about what I can offer. If you are happy to proceed to the next step we can then arrange an Initial Meeting, which is obligation free.
Initial Meeting
This will give you an opportunity to meet me and see if my services meet your needs. At this meeting, we can talk about your ceremony and how I can best help you.
I’m the one for you
Once you decide that you would like to have me as your celebrant, we will go through our service agreement and I’ll invoice you for a non-refundable deposit of $250. I also email you a questionnaire, to help me get to know you in greater detail and few different examples of vows, readings and poems to give you both a taste of what you might like to include in your ceremony. The options are endless…
Documents
We complete a Notice of Intent of Marriage, so you will need to bring your original Birth Certificates and/or passports if you were born overseas and any divorce papers/death certificates if you have previously been married
Subsequent Contact
We will work together to come up with the perfect ceremony that meets all of your needs, honours you as a couple, reflects your unique style, relates to your lifestyle and beliefs and shares your love story…….
Rehearsal
Always a good idea, however not essential. A great opportunity to make any final changes and sign the declaration of no legal impediment. Additional fees incurred to cover time and travel.
Your special day
I will arrive in time to set up and greet your guests.
It’s a time for love, laughter and tears of joy!
REFUNDS

Receipt of payments will be issued within 48 hours after payment has been received
